Anthropology of Healing Last Exam
Each society has their own own medical systems and practices intended for diagnosing and treating health issues and disease. There is a direct relationship among healing philosophy and procedures and ethnicities. Ethno medical inquiry is described as " study regarding how users of different nationalities think about disease and organize themselves toward medical treatment as well as the social firm of treatment itselfвЂќ (Fabrega 1975: 969). Each ethno medical systems have three parts: (1) a theory in case the etiology of sickness; (2) a method of diagnosis based on the etiological theory and (3) the prescription of suitable therapies based upon the medical diagnosis. Personalistic idea system, talks about sickness because the result of great forces provided to a patient, with a sorcerer or perhaps by a great angry nature. Naturalistic opinion systems, points out sickness with regards to natural pushes, such as germ theory (Brown P., 1998)
The healing process
The widespread pattern of healing is dependent on cultural constructs, embodied encounter, adaption through socialization as well as the personal personal and social self. The universal design of healing uses both material and symbolic production, involves equally techniques and meaning, and appeals to detects, mind and social human relationships.
